Almost Home Animal Rescue

Serving the North Ft Worth / Burleson TX Area

Who is Almost Home Animal Rescue-TX?

Almost Home Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3, all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue of unwanted, abused & neglected animals.  Based in the North Ft Worth TX area but also helping surrounding communities.

Our focus is saving street dogs (strays) from a life of loneliness & despair.   If space allows we do take in owner surrenders & shelter dogs.   We also focus on educating the public on the importance of spay/neuter & proper animal care.
When funds are available we assist families so they are able to keep their beloved pets rather than giving them up.

We provide full medical care to all animals before they are available for adoption.  Vetting includes:  vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, fecal test & heartworm test.      All animals are kept current on flea & heartworm prevention while in foster care.

Looking for us?
Because we are a foster home-based rescue, there is not a 'facility' for you to visit.  Our foster parents bring our adoptable pets to rescue events every weekend. Please check out our events calendar to find out where in the community we will be, so you can meet your new potential best friend!!

If you'd like to sponsor us to come to an event at your business location, please contact us!!

Bentley is a 7yr old, male Pomeranian.  He is an adorable lil guy that will quickly steal your heart!    He wants nothing more than a person to call his own.   He is the most loyal lil guy, just wants to cuddle & get tummy rubs all day.  Loves car rides, walks & being hand fed.  He is a true "purse" dog!   Housebroke, crate & leash trained.  Fully vetted.

Lil Bentley was in poor shape when he arrived to us.  After surgery & an extensive dental, he is now on the track to being healthy.  He's feeling wonderful & his personality shines bright!
